Actually this is from June 1993 when Karin and I were on our 6 months trip far, far away. We were in New Zeeland. Our portable digital alarm clock had broken. So I bought a new, analog alarm clock. Karin's disappointed response, "But we can't sleep more than 12 hours with that!"
